The future for UTS (University of Technology, Sydney)
We are delighted with the appointment of Steve Wozniak as an adjunct professor at the University of Technology, Sydney in December 2014. His passion and enthusiasm will bring an innovative perspective to the university.
He will have a leading role in the Innovation and Enterprise Research Laboratory or ‘Magic Lab’, which was established in 2002 and conducts research into robotics and artificial intelligence. Its primary objective is to understand the process of innovation and the role of information technology and its adoption in entrepreneurial practice and the business world.
Steve Wozniak is a strong advocate for technology and its impact on society. Steve has made technology functionally and financially accessible to all through his involvement in many business and philanthropic ventures. However this is the first appointment of this kind he has accepted, anywhere in the world.
